Made for You
One decision. Two lives ripped apart. For Holden Warner and Emylie Sanchez, the road back to each other has been long and jagged. Each of them hiding from the truth, but unwilling to move on from the love they share. When life no longer allows them to run from their past, they soon realize they’re two souls who will never fit anywhere except … with each other. MADE FOR YOU is a stand-alone novel.

I’ll confess that I’ve read about 95% of everything Mrs. Elliot has written. I’ve seen her writing progress and her stories get deeper each time. Most of the time I don’t feel that strongly against a character but this book had me really having to separate my personal feelings about a character from the rest of the review process. I apparently have a really hard time getting behind people who appear weak. Not physically, but emotionally. And Holden, I still don’t feel the love for him. The story itself was truly heart wrenching. And she delved into a subject that many just don’t even talk about with what happened with Holden. But just like I find myself frustrated with females that won’t stand up and fight, I was more than frustrated with Holden’s lack of motivation to fight for what he really wanted out of his life. Emylie is a very strong character and I felt she deserved someone as strong to compliment her. However, I was also frustrated with her in the beginning for just keeping with the status quo and not really caring about moving forward. With that said, this wasn’t my story so again, I’m struggling with how much I argued with the major characters in my head!. By the end I was happy to see Holden growing into someone I felt Emylie deserved and that she finally saw that she was worth more than she gave herself credit for. So in all honesty, I guess this really was a great story as it truly had me wishing I could engage with the characters, even if it would have been just to give them a good smack on the head and say, “Wake up! You’re worth so much more!” By the end I had (mostly) come around to loving who they became. For a story to have you that involved in the characters, regardless of personal feelings, it has to be good.
Mrs. Elliot’s writing style has managed to stay true to her humble beginnings as an indie author yet improve along the way as well. It’s been a pleasure to watch her career grow along with her writing. I highly recommend this book and look forward to her future books as well.

Minor editing issues throughoutIt has been a while since I read an entire book in one sitting but something about this book made it too hard to put down. Some of the plot twists you see coming from a mile away but somehow the author kept it interesting.

Emylie and Holden have known each other since they were 5 years old. They fall in love in high school but end up at different schools for college. Three years in Holden calls to tell Emylie he met someone else and wasn't coming home from California anymore.
Obviously Emylie and devastated and left with a million questions. They wouldn't see each other again until Holden brought his new fiancé home for a family reunion. As you can imagine things get pretty interesting from there. Holy drama and holy hotness!
I don't want to give too much away but this book actually contains 3 live stories. Holden and Emylie are the Stars of this show but the author also tells you how their friends find love too which was nice to read about as well.
Would definitely recommend this book.

I love second chance romances and Kelly delivers them so well! I have so much to say about this book but I don't want to give any spoilers away. While reading I went through so many emotions...love, anger, hate, disappointment, happy and love again. The scary part is that some of what I read could really happen! It amazes me how awful and vindictive women came be...Daphne fits that mold ten fold! Em and Holden were definitely made for each other and I feel like every was rooting for them and ...

I truly loved Becca and Mason and Carter and Tori. They made for the best friends anyone could wish for. Love all of Kelly's books and this is a big hit for me!
